New MacBook Air 2018

Apple announced the newest MacBook Air, at a special event in Brooklyn, New York, on October 30th.
New laptop features 13.3-inch Retina display with 2560 by 1600 pixels resolution; 1.6GHz dual-core 8th-generation Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz; 8GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 RAM memory; Intel UHD Graphics 617 video card; 128GB SSD storage space; Integrated Touch ID sensor; Force Touch trackpad; two Thunderbolt 3 ports and price tag starting at $1,199.
The new model is smaller and lighter, but cost extra $200 compared to the old one, fully loaded comes with 16 GB of RAM and 1.5TB SSD, which will bring the total price to $2,599.

The laptop is made of 100 percent recycled aluminum, and it has slimmer bezels around the display. Battery life is up to 12 hours of web browsing, up to 13 hours of iTunes movie playback and up to 30 days of standby time.
Other new features are:
- Touch ID – simple by placing your finger on the sensor you can unlock the computer, unlock documents, notes and system settings, and even use it for online shopping.
- Redesigned LED-backlit keyboard, with latest butterfly mechanism, providing more stability and responsiveness.
- Force Touch Trackpad – 20% larger than the previous model, with plenty of room for Multi-Touch.
